On April 27, 2024, QCares returned to Camden, NJ, for its second annual STEM Saturday event—bigger and more impactful than ever! This year, we welcomed even more students, mentors, and community leaders to participate in hands-on STEM activities designed to inspire future innovators.

From virtual reality and 3D printing demonstrations to coding challenges and engineering design projects,students had the opportunity to engage with real-world applications of STEM education in an exciting and interactive way.

A key component of STEM Saturday is connecting students with mentors who look like them, share similar backgrounds, and have excelled in STEM careers. By introducing students to Black and Brown professionals in STEM fields, we break down barriers and showcase the endless possibilities for their futures.

The overwhelming success of two consecutive STEM Saturday events in Camden has fueled our mission to expand nationwide. In 2025, we are bringing STEM Saturday to Fort Lauderdale, FL, giving even more students access to these life-changing experiences.
